Drawing on years of hands-on craft across commercial, heritage and residential interiors, Painting Spaces Kent brings considered workmanship to every project — from listed buildings and school environments to high-specification private homes.

Founded in 2019 by Rob and Jo, and based in Whitstable, Kent, we work with clients for whom quality of finish is non-negotiable. Our approach is straightforward: understand the space, respect its character, and deliver work that holds.

We are a trusted contractor to Equans — working within operational sites for the Metropolitan Police — and hold approved contractor status with two regional school trusts.

A full interior renovation of the former Margate Casino for Haeckels founder Dom Bridges — including precision taping across hundreds of square metres of mahogany panelling and a spray-applied sterile-grade finish for a working science laboratory.

Restoring heavily deteriorated public play equipment across multiple council sites — using specialist epoxy preparation and non-toxic, UV-resistant coatings to return safe, usable spaces to local communities.
